Spring Market: More Buyers Than Usual

An unusually high volume of home-buyer demand is flooding the spring market, with pending home sales rising in March for the third consecutive month and hitting their highest level since June 2013.

In Moses Lake (which lags behind the metro areas by about 6 months) there are currently 275 residential properties on the market  with 235 sales in the last 6 months. This means there is about 7 months of inventory on the market. Six months inventory is considered a "balanced" market. Last year at this time the market was sitting with about 10 months of inventory.

How I talked myself out of a listing

I talked myself out of a listing in Soap Lake yesterday. After I shared with the clients how the market is improving and all the wonderful things happening in Soap Lake they said "why would we want to sell? We want to stick around and watch this transformation unfold." They are super people that are friends and I'm glad they're keeping the house as a vacation home.

BUT- I do need more listings. I had 15 last month, down to 9 due to sales. Let me know if you would like a comparative market report (no charge) on your property to see if now is a good time to sell. 509-771-0027

One Thing you Should Consider as a Real Estate Agent: Safety

The job of a real estate agent may not consider safety as a concern to be given notice since obviously it is a lot different than other high risk jobs such as police work, firefighting, being a soldier and likewise jobs. But this importance should be underrated and rather should be given with crucial attention even it it is doing business on a peaceful moses lake real estate for sale.

Alarmingly, over two million cases of crime involving rape and assault are reported every year  and real estate agents are an easy prey for these crimes with women as major victims though there are male victims too. Real estate agents are very much vulnerable with criminals since the real estate agents often make contact with different kinds of people and meeting with strangers is part of the job. Activities such as driving around in the car, meeting them and showing them the homes for sale might render the real estate agent vulnerable especially when an intention is there and no one is around. Most individuals with criminal mindset would take advantage of the opportunity to attack the victim especially when the property is vacant. A real estate agent should be wary and cautious anytime. Know some basic safety concerns to decrease the risk of placing yourself in a dangerous situation. Dont judge the book by its cover, yes this may be a cliche but it has long been proven and is very helpful. Don't base your judgements on appearances only, serial killers such as Ted Bundy are known to be great tricksters and great in acting too. Meeting prospective customers in areas that are public is a sensible option. Discuss your business somewhere public such as a coffee shop. It would also be helpful to have a photocopy of any of their valid I.D. One very important tip to remember is to never go alone have someone to assist you when you’re showing houses for sale. When making homes previewing, it is essential to make anyone you know where you will be going and the time of your return, it is better to take your own car too.

One technique for safety assurance is to have the customers lead the way and not having them to walk behind you, don't walk in corners such as a closet or the basement. It would also be smart not to get in the elevator when you’re going to be alone with your customer of client especially when doing moses lake real estate for sale.

Homes for Sale In Moses Lake

Planning to buy home for sale in moses lake? Moving in a new home is a very big part of your life this is because it is where your family will live for the rest of your life. Most people want a house where you can call home. Well, there are some factors that you need to keep in mind before you buy a home for sale in Moses Lake. These tips will keep you in the right path in buying a home for sale in Moses Lake.

If you are a first timer in finding the right house, then it is needed for you to obey these tips to avoid miscalculations and mistakes. A simple miscalculation or a simple mistake can lead to disastrous results and will lead to disappointments. So, in order for you to avoid all these, then you should follow these simple tips. First tip is just to be careful in choosing the location of the house. This factor is very important because the location of the house must be perfectly fit for the kind of family you have. A good example of this is when you work, the house should be near to the place you work in order for you not to be late. The location of the house should also be at close proximity or if not at a convenient distance with other important establishments such as hospital or marts or the school. A wise buyer would buy a house that has a lot benefits and that would perfectly fit his family. The second important factor is the quality of the house. The physical appearance of the house is also important. The number of floors and the number of rooms must be connected to the number of members in the family. A big house is for a big family. A small family needs a small house.

A house that has a lot of space and has extra features is very convenient and efficient. Buying a house depends on the kind of person you are. If you are the kind of person that does not like the urban place. Then you should buy a house that is quite and is far away from the city. But if you are the kind of person that does not like to be outdated then you should buy a house that is near to the city. The last but not least important factor that you to keep in mind is the price. You must be reasonable in the price of the house you are buying. So buy home for sale in moses lake.
